I’m addicted to homeschool blogs. I find them everywhere, Pinterest, Bloglovin, random web searches for the information and activities I need. They are everywhere and they are awesome. I decided, because of my love of awesome homeschooling blogs I would create the Wednesday Website Shout Out. I don’t know if I’ll do it every Wednesday, but I’ll do it as often as I can because there are just some blogs and websites that need to be seen.
The first website I want to give a shout out to is Homeschool Giveaways and Freebies. Some of you may be familiar and already loving all of the fantastic resources shared. However, I recently found this site on Bloglovin’ and realized the amount of freebies and giveaways posted for homeschooling families was phenomenal. I quickly found myself absorbed in all of their posts collecting resources and freebies.
Here’s another thing I love about Homeschool Giveaways and Freebies: they introduce me to other homeschoolers, worksheet creators, educators, bloggers and all around awesome people who produce excellent free resources to use. Not only can I use Pinterest and Bloglovin’ to find some connections, but Homeschool Giveaways and Freebies also acts as another networking resource for me too!
Once I get a bit more talented with my worksheets and printables, I’ll probably be submitting some of them to be featured on their blog. Just a few guidelines, and the submission process is super simple. For now, though, I’ll continue to discover all of the great freebies and giveaways they offer.
Oh, and in case you’re not looking for freebies and giveaways, you can also find some other content shared on their site relevant to homeschooling. If you’re looking for a specific theme, they also have many of their posts categorized in different themes so you don’t have to search through the mass of posts to find what you’re looking for.
Overall, Homeschool Giveaway and Freebies is a great place to find printables, worksheets, freebies and giveaways related to homeschooling. It’s also a great place to find new homeschooling blogs and possibly even make a few new friends in the process. I hope you’ll check them out. I’m sure you’ll find a lot of relevant information for your homeschool classroom, no matter what it looks like and what you’re studying.
Check out Homeschool Giveaway and Freebies and tell me what you think of their site in the comments. I can’t wait to hear your thoughts!
