R is for Rainy Day Activities
The weather is warming up, the girls are ready to get back outside to play, and then the rainy weather hits. We just got a taste of the great outdoors again then we’re stuck inside. Isn’t that how it always goes? I decided this year we’re going to make the best of it and start off prepared. Jotting down a list of 50 rainy day activities to keep us busy in the house should do the trick. I don’t know why I didn’t think of doing this for winter! Oh well, winter’s over and the rain of spring is upon us. Let’s get moving on this list!

I’ve pinned this! My favorite thing to do when it rains is already on your list – read a book. The small people like to play in the rain, provided it’s not a thunderstorm.

That’s awesome! I was going to add some fun outdoor stuff, like make mud pies, go puddle hopping or dance in the rain, but I wanted to stick with indoor ideas. Thanks for the pin!

It wasn’t raining but we created a game of vampire queens, bounty hunters and pirates. We threw on all of the costumes (from past Halloween’s) and became hybrid heroes. Love it!

Hahaha! That sounds like a lot of creative fun! When I was little we used to shove all the old chairs together facing each other to make a “boat” then we played for hours that we were either adventurers or lost at sea. It was a blast! Imagination rocks!
